<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective liquid crystal display device which employs the configuration of preventing a front light unit and lens of the reflective liquid crystal display device from interfering each other even if both approach and which reduces the number of components and suppresses cost as a high-magnification lens is used by reducing the size of the reflective liquid crystal display device to be used toward miniaturization of a video camera, digital still camera, etc., being the request of markets to shorten the entire length of the optical system. <P>SOLUTION: The reflective liquid crystal display device has at least a polarizing plate, a casing into which the lens is built, a light emitting element, and a reflective liquid crystal panel which is arranged on a circuit board. Further, the casing is arranged on the front of the reflective liquid crystal panel and the light emitting element is arranged in the prescribed position within the casing in such a manner that the lens in the casing and the reflective liquid crystal panel attain an opposed positional relationship. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
