<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a child seat capable of absolutely restricting backward rotation without using another parts such as an extension member. <P>SOLUTION: In the child seat 10, the front edge of the side support 26 of a seat cushion 20 is extended forward from the front end of a seat cushion body 22 to form an abutting part 52. When the seat 10 is attached to a seat 12 reversely to the longitudinal direction of a vehicle (seat 12) to lay down an infant, the abutting surface 52 of the abutting part 50 abuts on the seat back 12B of the seat 12 in the higher position than the gravity point of the seat 10 including the infant. Thus, the load of the seat 10 is received and supported by a backrest seat back 12B when the seat 10 is going to be rotated backward, thereby absolutely restricting the backward rotation of the seat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
