PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency receiver of low cost wherein the need of a high-performance filter is eliminated by moderating an attenuation characteristic to the image frequency of a filter. SOLUTION: This high-frequency receiver is provided with a mixer 25 wherein outputs of filters 21, 23 are connected to one input thereof and an output of a frequency-variable local oscillator 30 is connected to the other input of the same, and an output terminal 33 connected to the output of the mixer 25 which is constituted of an image rejection mixer. In the filters 21, 23, the attenuation characteristic is moderated for a frequency where the mixer 25 reduces the image. Therefore, a high-performance filter is made unnecessary, and the high-frequency receiver of a low cost can be realized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
