PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photochromic pigment excellent in heat resistance and light resistance, when dispersed in a matrix and a film-forming composition containing the photochromic pigment. SOLUTION: A photochromic film obtained by coating the film-forming composition has an excellent heat resistance and light resistance, because the composition contains an indolinospironaphthoxazine-based photochromic compound having at least one epoxy group in the side chain and a compound having a functional group reactive with an epoxy group.
