PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing artificial zeolite having high quality and comprising reduced impurities even when fly ash is used as a starting raw material. SOLUTION: An aluminum raw material such as aluminum dross, aluminum hydroxide flake or the like is added to a remaining solution (alkali aqueous solution) produced on manufacturing artificial zeolite from fly ash to prepare a raw material solution. The raw material solution is then subjected to hydrothermal treatment. Thus, impurities in the fly ash are absorbed into the originally produced artificial zeolite to reduce the content of the impurities in the remaining solution, so that the artificial zeolite having higher quality than that of the conventional one, and further having a white appearance can be produced.
