PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing mixing of hydrogen gas is provided which improves quality and properties of product by shielding molten metal of heat reserving furnace from the atmosphere using an inert gas during manufacturing of product by gravitational casting, thereby preventing hydrogen gas from mixing with molten metal. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for preventing mixing of hydrogen gas comprises a plurality of gas injection nozzles(50) installed at an inlet of a heat reserving furnace into which molten alloy is injected; a pressure regulator(100) connected to the gas injection nozzles to control gas injection pressure; a solenoid valve(90) connected to the pressure regulator to open and shut supplying of gas; a flux sensing sensor(110) connected to the solenoid valve to sense gas supply amount; a gas supply unit(80) connected to the flux sensing sensor to take charge of supplying gas; and a controller(70) connected to the solenoid valve and the flux sensing sensor in such a manner that signals are communicated with each other between the controller and the solenoid valve and the flux sensing sensor, wherein a position sensing sensor(60) is connected to an inlet of the heat reserving furnace to sense movement of a molten metal injection cup for injecting molten metal(10) in such a way that signals are communicated with each other between the position sensing sensor and the controller.
