PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical information recording medium which has a high S/N ratio and high recording density.

SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium has: a recording part for recording optical information; a stack part where a plurality of thin films are stacked; and a substrate for supporting them. The peak of light absorption of the medium prior to irradiation is shifted by irradiation with light of a specific wavelength to a longer wavelength side or shorter wavelength side during the irradiation.
