<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curbstone block with illumination capable of irradiating pedestrian's face and step. <P>SOLUTION: In curbstone blocks with illumination having curbstone blocks 1 arranged at the boundary between a carriageway 3 and a sidewalk 2 and provided with an opened space 4 continuously formed on the side and upper sides of the sidewalk 2 and light source 6 arranged in the opened space 4 and irradiating the external side of the curbstone blocks 1, a first recessed face 8 reflecting light to the sidewalk face 7 and a second recessed face 9 reflecting light to the diagonal upper side against the sidewalk face, and a reflecting face 10 continuously formed are formed at the rear face side of the light source 6. In this way, as the incident light onto the first recessed face 8 is formed so as to chiefly turn to the sidewalk face 7, the light is reflected to the sidewalk face 7. As the light incident onto the second recessed face 9 turns diagonally upwards against the sidewalk face, the light reflects to the diagonal upward direction against the sidewalk face 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
