<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which can effectively utilize the space, which has been conventionally occupied by a capacitor, by using a capacitor which is provided around a motor body, around a motor's rotating shaft, or around a motor drive in place of a conventional capacitor. <P>SOLUTION: The motor body, which has a stator 8, a rotor 2, a motor rotating shaft 3 attached to the rotor, and others, is installed within a hollow capacitor C, and a motor drive, which performs the PWM control using a switching element, is connected to the above capacitor C. The motor drive is connected to the above capacitor C, which obviates the necessity to provide a capacitor within a motor controller, so the motor drive can be downsized by removing elements which occupy the space due to their large size such as a field capacitor, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
