<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for detecting canceration of tissues and to provide a new nucleic acid usable in the method. <P>SOLUTION: The nucleic acid is characterized by comprising a part of a base sequence retrieved from a human-derived specific EST or a base sequence complementary to the base sequence and having 40-1,000 bp. The canceration of the tissues collected from a living body is detected by correlating a change in expression level of the nucleic acid characterized as hybridizing to the nucleic acid under stringent conditions in the tissues with the canceration of the tissues. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
