PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and promptly obtain a desired electronic program guide when a user selects a program of a television broadcast.

SOLUTION: When a user touches a desired position on a display screen, a position detecting portion 22 detects an instructed position (touch position) on the display screen. A data processing control portion 23 controls to scroll display contents of a display range based on a position relationship between the instructed position detected by the position detecting portion 22 and the predetermined position on the display screen, i.e. a direction and a distance.
