PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information communication equipment which effectively performs memory management and effectively acquiring contents data, and also to provide its control method and a program. SOLUTION: A RAM 104 which stores a plurality of types of data received from a communication line is constituted. When a prescribed type of data is received via the communication line, a CPU 102 judges the presence/absence of a free capacity of the RAM 104 for storing the data. When no free capacity of the RAM 104 is found as a result of judgment, data corresponding to or exceeding the free area are deleted from the RAM 104 in a state where connection of the communication line is maintained.
