PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam valve more reduced in pressure loss by effectively controlling a main steam flow in a strainer housed in a valve casing. SOLUTION: This steam valve is provided with a closing part 41 for hindering a part of the main steam flow flowing from the outside to the inside of the strainer 27 housed in the valve casing 23.
