摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply rate setting method and a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine capable of automatically maintaining the current traveling condition, making adjustments for changes in traveling load without requiring a special operation by a driver. SOLUTION: Basic fuel injection quantity FIdr is computed on the basis of accelerator opening ACCP, engine speed NE and the first map data inside a ROM (S103). Car speed standard fuel injection quantity FIspd is computed on the basis of the car speed SPD and the table data inside the ROM (S105). Engine request fuel injection quantity FIer is computed by dividing the car speed standard fuel injection quantity FIspd with a final gear ratio (S107). Shortage fuel injection quantity FIsh is computed on the basis of the engine request fuel injection quantity FIer, the engine speed NE and the second map data inside the ROM (S108).
