PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a space in front of a key lock plate in its rotating direction to create an extra space for arranging other components therein, thus utilize a space around the key lock plate. SOLUTION: In a key-interlocked device of an automatic transmission, a cam plate to reverse the rotation of the key lock plate is arranged under it, where one end of the cam plate is connected to one end of the key lock plate while the other end of the cam plate is arranged below to be connected to one end of a key-interlocked cable. The stroke direction of the key-interlocked cable is turned to almost the same direction in which the cable moves when it is connected to the upper side of the key lock plate. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
