PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording head with a protective tape capable of protecting an ejection port surface fragile against external force. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head 101 is equipped with: a silicon substrate 5 where wiring and a heater element 6 are formed on an upper layer by using a photolithographic technology; a resin 4 which forms a side wall of a passage corresponding to the heater element 6 on the silicon substrate 5 and a ceiling part (orifice plate 7) of the passage opening an ejection port 3; and the protective tape 102 which protects the ejection ports 3 of the orifice plate 7 by being stuck on a surface wherein a row or a group of the ejection ports 3 is formed. In the protective tape 102, a high-viscosity liquid 2 is applied to one side of a tape base material 1 using polyethylene terephthalate of a thickness of 25μm.
