PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a resin molded product capable of manufacturing the resin molded product having a desired shaping depth with good productivity, and a manufacturing method for a metal structure for a mold used for manufacturing the resin molded product. SOLUTION: An Ni structure 6b having an uneven surface is prepared and a resist is bonded to the uneven surface of the Ni structure 6b to form a resist layer 2 which is, in turn, subjected to lithography treatment. Then, the resist layer 2 formed into a recessed part on the uneven surface of the Ni structure 6b is removed so that the distance between the resist upper surface on the projections of the uneven surface and the resist upper surface on the recessed part becomes larger than the depth of the unevenness of the Ni structure 6b and a metal is subsequently bonded to the uneven surface of the Ni structure 6b by plating treatment to obtain the metal structure 6c for the mold for manufacturing the resin molded product.
