PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isotropic pressure device capable of producing a large-scale product without enlarging the whole device, particularly a press frame. SOLUTION: A pressure medium is introduced into a processing chamber 16 formed of a cylindrical pressure container 1 and upper or lower lid 2, 3 which are respectively fitted in upper and lower openings of the pressure container 1 and then an object 13 to be treated in the processing chamber 16 is isotropically pressurized in an isotropic pressure device, and the isotropic pressure device is provided with the press frame 5 which supports axial force generated at the upper and upper lid 2, 3 during pressure application by engaging with the upper and lower 2, 3 lids. A dummy shaft 4 to pass through the upper and lower lids 2, 3 is formed in the processing chamber 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
