PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural mulch having biodegradability, excellent in flexibility and impact resistance, suppressing bleedout of a plasticizer, excellent in a film-producing properties, withstanding long-term use and capable of shortening a biodegradable period and controlling the period. SOLUTION: The mulch comprises a film composed of a polylactic acid, a biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic copolyester having≤0°C glass transition temperature, starch, an oxyacid ester-based plasticizer and an inorganic filler. The formulation weight ratio of the polylactic acid to the biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic copolyester is (80/20) to (30/70). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
