METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ANGLE OF HEADS OF PAIR CROSS MILL

PURPOSE: A method for controlling angle of heads of pair cross mill is provided to minimize roll force deviation by controlling pair cross angle, prevent deflection of strip by stably controlling thrust force and produce hot rolled strip having superior shape by optimizing crown. CONSTITUTION: The method for controlling angle of heads of pair cross mill comprises a process of judging whether a previous pair cross angle is increased or decreased compared with a pair cross angle before the previous pair cross angle after SCC (supervisory computer control) system remembers a pair cross angle determined as strip is being cut by crop shear; and a process of setting a target angle to a value that is 0.05 degree lower than the pair cross angle if it is necessary to decrease the pair cross angle during test rerolling in case that the previous pair cross angle is increased compared with the pair cross angle before the previous pair cross angle as results of judgement, and setting the target angle to a value that is 0.05 degree higher than the pair cross angle if it is necessary to decrease the pair cross angle during test rerolling in case that the previous pair cross angle is decreased compared with the pair cross angle before the previous pair cross angle.
