PURPOSE: A portable arc welder is provided to completely remove noise in a normal mode and a common mode without generating malfunction of the portable arc welder by attaching a noise filter to the portable arc welder. CONSTITUTION: An AC power(AC) is rectified through a bridge diode and switched through an insulated gate bipolar transistor. Waveform passing through a high-frequency transformer is rectified so as to obtain direct current. A varistor and a first condenser(C1) are connected between both ends of an input line of the AC power in a row. Two coils(L1,L2) are connected to the input line of the AC power in series. A second condenser(C2) is connected to both sides of the input line coupled with two coils. Third and fourth condensers(C3,C4) are connected to the input line of the AC power.
