PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump allowing a change in the speed of revolution of the water pump in all ranges with the small power of a solenoid coil, allowing the flow rate control from a small flow rate to a large flow rate, and reduced in the generation of noise, improved in durability, miniaturized, and reduced in cost thereof. SOLUTION: In this water pump 1 having a pulley 80, to which the driving power is transmitted, an impeller 24 for circulating the fluid, and a driving power transmitting mechanism 50 for transmitting the driving force from the pulley 80 to the impeller 24, the driving power transmitting mechanism 50 is formed from a power clutch 50A.
