PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber structure constituting protecting materials, protecting clothes and industrial materials which scarcely deteriorate the strengths, when exposed to high temperature, high humidity and light irradiation, and especially to provide a woven or knitted fabric comprising polybenzazole fibers having excellent durability. SOLUTION: This fiber structure contains a high heat-resistant organic pigment having a thermal decomposition temperature of≥200°C, dissolving in a mineral acid, preferably having -N= and/or NH- groups in the molecular structure, in particular, a perinone and/or perylene compound, a phthalocyanine compound, a quinacridone compound, or a dioxazine compound, in fibers, and constitutes protecting materials, protecting clothes and industrial materials scarcely deteriorating the strengths, even when exposed to high temperature, high humidity, and light irradiation. Especially, the woven or knitted fabric comprises polybenzazole fibers having excellent durability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
