PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an undercut molded article capable of reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A tensile part (in this case, an elastomer R cured in a runner 34), which generates a tensile force for releasing the opening part 16g of a cylindrical part 16c with an undercut from a slide core 32 accompanied by the movement of the slide core 32 when the slide core 32 is released from a mold, is integrally formed on a flange part 16e in the neighborhood of the opening part 16g of the cylindrical part 16c. At the time of mold release of the slide core 32, the opening part 16g of the cylindrical part 16c is released from the slide core 32 by the tensile force generated at the tensile part, and the slide core 32 is then released from the cylindrical part 16c.
