The knife carrier (1) has a central dished hub (2) with two flexible fastening tongues (3). A flange with holes to save weight extends out from the hub, and carries two diametrically-opposed bolts (8) which fit into slots (15) in the inner ends of the cutting knives (6). The bolts have enlarged heads (9) and fit into bores (7) in the flange of the carrier disk. Catches (21) on the disk engage lugs (18) on a locking cam (17) on the base of each knife to prevent rotation in the wrong direction. A flange (14) in the groove in the base of each knife engages the head of the bolt to hold the knife in place.
