The method of gluing together two components (1,3) of a motor vehicle bodywork involves placing the adhesive (11) in a recess (2) in one (1) component and placing the two components together. The second component is closely spaced with respect to the adhesive. The adhesive is then partially forced out of the seating by a pressure fluid to engage the second component. The hardening stage of the adhesive is then completed.
