PURPOSE: Provided is a transparent top coat aqueous paint composition for low temperature baking which forms a coating of high gloss and is excellent in acid resistance, water fastness, chipping resistance and scratch resistance. CONSTITUTION: The transparent top coat aqueous paint composition comprises 40-75 wt% of a water dispersive resin composition containing a urethane oligomer having at least four hydroxyl groups derived from the reaction of an alkylene carbonate and a polyamine; 15-35 wt% of a curing resin; 3.2-11.5 wt% of an additive; and 4-15 wt% of a co-solvent. Preferably the solid component ratio of the water dispersive resin composition and the curing resin is 80;20 to 50;50; the curing resin is a blocked isocyanate resin, an amino resin or their mixture; and the co-solvent is propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol or their mixture.
