<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly indirectly illuminate a switch mark or its neighborhood continuously while maintaining a relative position relationship between the switch mark and a light source in a constant state regardless of an operation position of a steering wheel. <P>SOLUTION: A steering switch device comprises surface side steering switches 4, 5 arranged in a surface side of the steering wheel 1 and which integrally rotate with the steering wheel 1; back steering switches 6, 7 arranged in a back side of the steering wheel 1 and which integrally rotate with the steering wheel 1.
