<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell reducing resistance polarization and activation polarization that decrease battery efficiency, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The problem is solved by providing a fuel cell with one or a plurality of fuel cell assemblies. Each of the fuel cell assembly comprises: an electrolyte with a certain length; a fuel electrode with a certain length disposed at one side of the electrolyte; and an air electrode with a certain length disposed at the opposite side of the one side of the electrolyte. The fuel cell also includes a plurality of current collectors as its components. Each current collector is substantially embedded into at least one of the electrolyte, fuel electrode and air electrode with respective lengths, substantially existing as a consecutive unit with the respective lengths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
