<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize excellent discharge characteristic even if the cross sectional shape of a developer storage part is not limited to circular shape and is made different shape in the case of providing an aperture through which developer is discharged to be small at the end in a developer replenishing container mounted in a rotary type developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The developer replenishing container mounted in the rotary type developing device together with a developing unit has the developer storage part for storing the developer and having non-circular cross sectional shape, a stirring member for stirring the developer in the developer storage part by a stirring blade rotating centering a rotary shaft and the aperture part through which the stirred developer is discharged. The aperture part is disposed to be smaller than the length of the developer replenishing container in a rotary shaft line direction, the stirring blade of the stirring member is inclined so that rubbing amount may get larger toward the aperture part and disposed so that its edge may rub on at least one part of the developer storage part, and the center of rotation of the stirring member in the developer storage part is disposed to be eccentric to the upstream side in the rotating direction of the rotary type developing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
