<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting voice data, when voice content is provided to a portable terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A voice data conversion method, in which a voice data conversion server over a network converts the voice data and provides the portable terminal with the converted data, if the portable terminal makes a request for acquiring the voice data to a content server over the network. The method includes a voice data conversion request acquiring step, in which the voice data conversion server receives from the content server, a voice data acquisition request from the portable terminal and information on the voice data of object for which the acquisition request has been made; a voice data conversion step, in which the voice data conversion server acquires the voice data of the object for which the acquisition request has been made in the form of a basic data format, and then submits the basic data format to voice data conversion, corresponding to the kind of the portable terminal; and a voice data provision step, in which the voice data conversion server provides the portable terminal with the converted voice data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
