<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail newsletter processing technique for automatically analyzing the structure of a delivered e-mail newsletter and automatically editing it. <P>SOLUTION: The e-mail newsletter to be processed is received, and stored in an e-mail newsletter database. For a fixed number of the same e-mail newsletters stored for a plurality of numbers, the text data of the e-mail newsletter are partitioned into text lines for every line unit, and the appearance frequency of the text lines is counted. A text line having an appearance frequency smaller than the fixed number of e-mail newsletters is classified by a first classification means, a text line of the same number by a second classification means after detecting the appearance position in each e-mail newsletter, and a text line having a larger appearance frequency by a third classification means after analyzing the structural characters of the text line, respectively. The unique information of each classified e-mail newsletter is stored in the e-mail newsletter database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
