<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact data transmitting/receiving body which prevents an electromagnetic wave from being shielded while a conductive part for adjusting electrostatic capacitance is provided, and is also capable of dealing with fine adjustment in addition to considerable adjustment of the electrostatic capacitance, and its capacitance adjusting method. <P>SOLUTION: The non-contact data transmitting/receiving body is provided with a substrate 2 composed of a first insulation member, an IC chip 3 located on one surface of the substrate 2 for controlling storage, processing and communication of data, and an antenna body 4 composed of a conductive member while connecting its both terminals to the IC chip 3, and the antenna body 4 has a plurality of circling parts 5 and a plurality of open ends 6 extending from the parts 5.
