PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner for higher speed fixing, which excels in low-temperature fixability, high-temperature off-set resistance and prevention of coiling round, and to provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: An unfixed toner image is formed by the toner which contains at least a binder resin at least containing a hybrid resin, coloring matter and wax and in which, in a molecular weight distributions by GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) of the THF (Tetrahydrofuran) soluble contents of the toner, the content (M1) of the component of the molecular weight below 10,000 is 40 to 70mass%, the content (M2) of the component of the molecular weight from 10,000 to 50,000 is 25 to 50mass%, the content (M3) of the component of the molecular weight exceeding 50,000 is 2 to 25mass%, and the content of the component of the molecular weight of≥100,000 is≤10mass% and which satisfies M1≥M2>M3. The image is formed by bringing the unfixed toner image by a pressurizing member into pressurized contact with a flexible metallic sleeve heated by a heating member and by fixing the image to a recording material.
