PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize whether or not a new broadcast program at the same time zone can be preselected to be easily and immediately recognized, and enable another broadcast program to be easily preselected even at the time period when a restricted number of preselected broadcast programs exist. SOLUTION: If a TV receiver is provided with two tuners and the tuners can be used freely, preselecting state display areas 37a and 37b per tuner are provided on a receiving broadcast program table screen 31, and the preselecting state of the concerned tuner is displayed thereon. If a preselecting operation is performed when programs are already preselected in both tuners at the same time zone, an alarm screen 44 is displayed. If a selection item "to priority setting" 45 is selected, tuner usage priority for another preselected broadcast program and that for an already-preselected broadcast program can be changed, thereby enabling the tuner to be used for another preselected broadcast program.
