PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, wherein a case at a side of a display section and a case at a side of an operation section are configured in an opening / closing enabled way, which prevents an auxiliary operation section provided to a face other than opposed faces of both the cases to each other from being malfunctioned in a closing state. SOLUTION: When the mobile terminal is in a completely closed state, a state detection section detects the closing state, transmits a signal to a control section, and a lock control section validates operations of the auxiliary operation section. After that, when a hinge hinging the case at the side of the display section and the case at the side of the operation section is turned, the state detection section detects a state other than the closing state, transmits a signal to the control section, and the lock control section invalidates the operation of the auxiliary operation section.
