PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a semiconductor laser driver having an APC circuit capable of preventing increase in the current of a laser diode even if the capacitance of a hold capacitor is decreased down to such a level as the capacitor can be integrated in a semiconductor. SOLUTION: The voltage of a hold capacitor 4 is applied to the substrate gate of an NMOS transistor 21 constituting an analog switch 3 using a buffer amplifier 24 and/or the voltage of the hold capacitor 4 is applied to the substrate gate of a PMOS transistor 22 constituting the analog switch 3 using a buffer amplifier 25.
