PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve excellent in fuel micronization performance. SOLUTION: The fuel micronization performance in which fuel is supplied in injection is made to be excellent in such a manner that an injection hole 7, open at a valve body 2 supplies fuel in injection; the diameter of entrance side 8 of the injection hole 7 is D1; when the diameter of exit side 9 is D2, the diameter D2 of the exit side 9 is set to be greater than the diameter D1 of the entrance side 8 of the injection hole 7, and axial direction length of the entrance side 8 of the injection hole 7 is L1 simultaneously; and, when axial direction length of the exit side 9 is L2, the relationship of the above dimensions is set to be L2/D2 > 0.11×(D2/D1)+2.66(L1/D1)/(L2/D2) < 2.2.
