PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hotmelt-type adhesive fiber obtained by forming a hotmelt adhesive resin into the fiber, having high adhesiveness even after a treatment at a comparatively high temperature after adhesion because of having a high melting point compared to that of a conventional adhesive, and suitable for an application used at a high temperature. SOLUTION: The hotmelt-type adhesive fiber comprises a copolymer of a nylon 6 and a nylon 12 obtained by copolymerizing≥40 mass% nylon 12 component, and having 120-160°C melting point. The hotmelt-type adhesive fiber has properties of≥2.0 cN/dtex strength and≤135% elongation at break. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
