PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box which can be opened smoothly without producing chips. SOLUTION: A housing article is wrapped with a bottom board 3, a front side board 4, a rear side board 5, and a top board 6, and first lid strips 11, 12 and second lid strips 13, 14 are glued to the exteriors of first flaps 7, 8 and second flaps 9, 10, respectively, to seal the box. A breaking band 17 formed by a pair of longitudinal breaking lines 15, 16 is formed on the second lid strip 14, on which lateral breaking lines 18, 19 are also formed along the boundary between the second lid strip 14 and the top board 6 except the part overlapping the breaking band 17. Slant breaking lines 22, 25, extending from the corners of the bottom board 5 slantly upward toward the top edge of the first lid strip 8 and of the second lid strip 10, respectively, are formed on the first and second flaps 8, 10.
