The holder jacket (1) can be circular or rectangular in shape having internal guide ribs (2) the inner edges of which enclose a circular space (20) to accommodate an umbrella. The holder is accommodated in a position which enables it to be supplied with air, at a suitable temperature and speed, from the internal heating system so that the umbrella dries in 30-60 minutes. A moisture sensor can be provided to terminate the drying process.
