PURPOSE: Provided is a top sheet for an absorptive article, which has excellent restorability after elongation and compression deformability, as well as excellent resistance against counterflow of absorbed fluids and conformability to user's movements. CONSTITUTION: The top sheet for an absorptive article comprises a non-woven fabric having a plurality of heat fused portions(3) formed by an embossing process, wherein the fibers(1,2) forming the non-woven fabric protrude out between the heat fused portions(3) in the direction of the thickness of the non-woven fabric, thereby forming multiple protrusions(4a,4b) on each of the top surface and the bottom surface of the non-woven fabric. In the protrusions(4b) formed on the bottom surface of the non-woven fabric, the base portions of the protrusions protrude out in the horizontal direction of the non-woven fabric. |
