FIELD: metallurgy, possibly heating or drying ladles by means of burner. SUBSTANCE: flue branch pipe and portion of flue joined with it are mounted on lid. Flue branch pipe is provided with air jacket joined through pipeline with portion of air duct. Inside flue branch pipe there are nozzles of air jacket turned in direction of flue portion. Combustion products formed at gas burning in burner are taken into flue branch pipe for moving along flue portion to chimney. Air emitting out of nozzles lowers temperature inside flue until 400 C. Air flow directed to side of flue portion intensifies process of suction of combustion products. EFFECT: enhanced strength of lid due to cooling its members, increased efficiency of heating, elimination of gas penetration from ladle to shop room. 3 cl, 1 dwg
