PURPOSE: A method and a device for editing the video of a PVR(Personal Video Recorder) system are provided to display/edit data again if necessary by editing a screen of an inputted moving or still image with an underline, a picture, or a text on an OSD(On Screen Display) layer, and storing the edited OSD layer together with the moving or still image. CONSTITUTION: A signal input part(300) inputs a signal when the screen of a touch screen board(320) is touched. A counter(310) calculates the coordinates of the inputted signal. A controller(330) processes the data inputted through the counter and the touch screen board. A communicator(340) transmits the data processed in the controller to a CPU of the PVR system. A playback device(350) displays the signal inputted from a user through the touch screen board on the screen.
