METHOD FOR EDITING DATA OF ASN 1 MESSAGE WITH HIERARCHICAL TREE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: An ASN(Abstract Syntax Notation) 1 message edition method is provided to edit data of an ASN 1 message having a hierarchical tree structure by using a graphic user interface. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. An ASN 1 message is hierarchically displayed on a tree window(401). Data is input via a tree extension or contraction display button on the tree window(402). According to the input data, a sub node or sub tree is extended or contracted on the tree window(403). According to a node selection, data items for editing the ASN message are displayed on the tree window. The data of the ASN message is edited.
