<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet carrying device capable of pressing a first guide member and a second guide member with a simple structure, an image forming device having the sheet carrying device, and an image reading device. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet carrying part 101 having a sheet carrying route R is formed to be pulled in and out of a device body 1A, a hook 117 is fixed to a first guide member 110 forming the sheet guide surface of the sheet carrying route R, and the hook 117 is engaged with an engagement part 111a fixed to a second guide member 111 forming the other sheet guide surface of the sheet carrying route R. When the sheet carrying part 101 is pulled out, the hook 117 is allowed to abut on a contact part 119a installed in the device body 1A and moved from a position where the hook is engaged with the engagement part 111a to a position where the engagement of the hook with the engagement part 111a is released. When the sheet carrying part 101 is pressed in, the hook 117 is allowed to abut on the contact part 119a, and moved from the position where the engagement of the hook with the engagement part 111a is released to the position where the hook is engaged with the engagement part 111a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
