PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device greatly increased for shock resistance and undeviated from standard form factor.

SOLUTION: A hard disk device constistuted to be detachably attached to a PC card, and having an assembly structure is provided with a function member 10 including a disk 11 or the like, a base plate 32 on which the function member 10 is mounted, a frame bumper 30 formed separately from the base plate 32 and arranged as a shock absorber in the center of the assembly structure, a card assembly 20 having a card assembly 20 having a connector 22 inserted into the slot of the PC card, and a top cover 33 for covering the function member 10 after it is mounted on the base plate 32, and a shock to the side face of the device is received through the frame bumper 30.
