<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable only an authenticated user to refer to information more detail than the information printed by use of a paper medium. <P>SOLUTION: Document information and authentication information for the document information are inputted and written in a storage medium 120, and a part of the document information that is the content of the document information capable of being referred to by an optional user is printed in the paper medium 110. The user inputs authentication information for the document information to be acquired based on the content.
