QUICK RELEASE LATCH, RELEASE HANDLE, AND CASE FOR CARRYING PORTABLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick release latch and a release handle which can quickly and easily release a portable device from a portable case for carrying.

SOLUTION: This quick release latch operates to quickly attach a portable device 102 to a safe attaching device 100 and detach the device 102 from the device 100 and is equipped with a spring loaded attaching mechanism which can be detachably attached to the bottom face of the portable device 102 and, further, a release handle 114 to be captured by the attaching mechanism. On the other hand, the release handle 114 has a profiled edge and is structured so that the profiled edge releases the attaching mechanism from the portable device by movement of the release handle in any direction within the release plane.
