<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To direct driver's attention to recognize the condition of a regenerative control when the regenerative control of a particulate filter is being carried out under the idling condition of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device is provided with a catalytic regeneration type particulate filter 12 installed on the way of an exhaust pipe 11, and provided with a control device 15 for controlling a fuel injection device 18 for a diesel engine 1 to perform post injection at a non-ignition timing delayed from the compression top dead center continuously to the fuel main injection performed near the compression top dead center when a necessity of regenerating the particulate filter is generated, and the control device 15 increases the injection quantity per one time of the main injection to raise the engine speed in comparison with that of the normal idling operation when carrying out the post injection in the idling condition. An indicator lamp 24 for lighting when carrying out the post injection under the idling condition is provided in a driver's cab. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
